Team SmartCityTech, Wednesday, April 7th
The Young Tech Professionals Spring Quarter Tech Bootcamp kicked off on Wednesday, April 7th with 28 students participating, comprised of 4 teams. Each 7-student team is coached by a senior industry leader from the private, public and the startup sectors. The coaches are:
- CleanTech Team coached by Andy Johnson, Director, Sony Pictures Entertainment
- EdTech Team coached by Mike Catania, CEO & Co-Founder, Locaris (UCLA Anderson EMBA ’21)
- HealthTech Team coachd by Sumita Jonak, CEO & Founder, NurLabs (UCLA Anderson EMBA ’21)
- SmartCityTech Team coached by Behrang Abadi, Technology Bureau Manager, City of Long Beach
The first workshop presentation topic was “Introduction to Productivity Tools” by Shahin MohammadKhani, Executive Director, Architecture, Sony Pictures Entertainment. After the presentation, the student teams joined the designated breakout rooms with the coaches to discuss their social good projects.
