Kevin Gray, CIO of City of Burbank, shared his greatest accomplishments in leadership- the importance of personal connection bringing his team closer together as well as credibility. Lucy Avetisyan, CIO of UCLA, shared that the power of listening to the needs of the stakeholders across campus and understanding the structure of the workplace helped her adjust to the remote work environment. Lastly, the Associate VP Technology solutions at Humana, Michael Bacharach, expands that relationship building is the key to moving projects forward. Micheal shares his use of breakout rooms to foster semi-formal and enriching conversations to form the human connections. The panel provided a whole and humanistic perspective to the way goals are accomplished.
