Join the YMCA Stair Climb & Urban Hike – Innovate@UCLA Sponsored Team Forming!
We’re excited to share an opportunity for Innovate@UCLA members to participate in the 2026 YMCA Stair Climb & Urban Hike on Friday, September 25, 2026, in Downtown Los Angeles.
Rory Devine is sponsoring one Innovate@UCLA team, Innovate & Elevate, and will cover registration fees for interested members.
All of the money raised is invested directly in free and low-cost YMCA community programs for children, teens, families and seniors living in some of the most under-resourced communities in the city. This includes teen programs that cultivate our future leaders, youth sports so every child can experience the joy of sports, and summer camps (both day and sleepaway) that fill youth with self-confidence and the wonder of new experiences.
Participants can choose from three options:
- Stair Climb: 1,664 steps (75 floors) to the top of the U.S. Bank Tower
- Urban Hike: 1.3 mile walk through Downtown LA landmarks
- Virtual Stair Climb: Complete the 75-floor climb at a location of your choice
Funds raised support YMCA youth and family programs across Los Angeles.
The online registration deadline is 11:59 PM PST, Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
