Kevin Gray serves as an active member of Innovate@UCLA’s board of directors and is currently serving as the 2023 Summer Event’s Chair. His next event will be the 2023 Summer Solstice taking place on Wednesday, June 14th from 8 AM – 12:30 PM at the UCLA Faculty Club. “Join me at the Innovate@UCLA Summer Solstice event, where we will explore the tremendous impacts that generative AI solutions like ChatGPT, and other transformative innovations, have had, and will have on our society.” Says Kevin.
Kevin has served as the City of Burbank’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) since 2018 where he has headed overall IT Department operations focusing on the City’s digital transformation and technology strategies.
Kevin was VP of Global Media and Infrastructure Technology at Viacom managing worldwide teams in IT engineering, architecture, operations, and support. He served as VP of IT Infrastructure and Operations at Paramount Pictures leading the architecture planning, implementation, design, and operations of computing and telecommunications.
Besides his membership duties at Innovate@UCLA, Kevin serves on several boards including of California Riverside Extension Executive Design Thinking Program, Society for Information Management, University CIO Summit – California, and the Burbank Community YMCA.
He holds a BS degree in Information Systems from California State University, Long Beach, and holds a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), SAFe 5 Government Practitioner, SAFe 5 Program Consultant, Scrum Master and Six Sigma Green Belt.
